VisioPet VetCaps is a unique product whose active ingredients support the proper functioning of the eye.
Each VisioPet VetCaps capsule contains 14 antioxidants.
Antioxidants are a group of compounds that prevents oxidation in the body and have the ability to neutralize free radicals that are formed as a result of this chemical reaction. Reactive oxygen species (free radicals) damage proteins, DNA, unsaturated fatty acids that are part of cell membranes, polysaccharides and blood lipids. Weakening or collapse of the antioxidant barrier in cells accelerates the aging process of the body. When a free radical molecule contacts an antioxidant molecule, it receives the missing electron from it and is neutralized. Therefore, regular availability of antioxidants in the daily diet of animals is very important to limit the adverse effects of reactive oxygen species on their body.
Key antioxidants contained in VisioPet VetCaps:
Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) – support the blood supply to the optic nerve.
Green tea extract (Epigallocatechin gallate) – neutralizes reactive oxygen species.
Grape seed extract (Proanthocyanidins) – improves microcirculation in the eyeballs.
Blueberry extract (Anthocyanins) – helps retina adapt to changing exposure more efficiently, strengthens the capillaries in the eyes.
Marigold extract (Lutein and Zeaxanthin) – contains carotenoids that are necessary to protect the lens and retina from oxidants and UV radiation (high energy blue light).
Ginkgo biloba extract (Ginkoflavonoglycosides) – increases the blood supply to the tissues of the eyes. Supports mental activity, the ability to correctly perceive, remember and neutralizes the action of free radicals in the body.
Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) – nourishes the eyes.
Tomato extract (Lycopene) – lycopene reduces the risk of blood lipid oxidation.
Vitamins A, C and E – a complex of vitamins with antioxidant effects.
Zinc (in the form of amino acid chelate) – contributes to better nutrition and blood supply to the eyeballs.
